Journalism
Darkroom

Photography

One of the most formative experiences of my life was studying journalism photography. Among other interesting experiences, I was able to document temples in Japan and the Palatine Fire Department.

Journalism/Darkroom - Negatives: A negative strip from my photojournalism trip to Kyoto, Japan. Shot with a Nikon FM10 35mm.

Journalism/Darkroom – Kyoto Temple 1: My single favorite photo that I’ve ever captured, shot from the very top of a temple in Kyoto overlooking the city. Hand exposed in darkroom and shot on a Nikon FM10 35mm.

Journalism/Darkroom – Kyoto Temple 2: A photo taken of a temple entrance in Kyoto, Japan with a backdrop of a mountain covered in 50ft trees. Hand exposed in darkroom and shot on a Nikon FM10 35mm.

Journalism/Darkroom – Kyoto Temple 3: Carvings in front of a small entrance to a prayer room at a temple in Kyoto, Japan. Hand exposed in darkroom and shot on a Nikon FM10 35mm.

Journalism/Darkroom – Palatine FD Ride along 1: Responding firefighter posing in front of his truck; Palatine, IL. Hand exposed in darkroom and shot on a Nikon FM10 35mm.
